First of all, you'll love the the price: you don't have to pay any sitting fees at all!
Just arrange the time and place, and we come right to you. Later (very soon, actually) we will upload the pictures to the special online gallery, which you will be able to enjoy and share with your friends and relatives, also free of any charges. And only if you like what you see - you will be able to easily order a print or two, or a photo souvenir (discounts available).
PhotoSoCal can deliver a large variety of photo-related products, from wallet-size pictures to huge 30x40 posters and exquisite canvas prints.
Prints, calendars, mugs, fridge magnets, mousepads, T-shirts - the selection is huge.
To arrange a photo session, simply send an email to
request@photosocal.com with the following info:
1) First name, Last name, cellphone, email
2) Regiment (if applicable)
3) Camping location (if known)
4) How many people in the group
(approximately: 1-3-6-10-15-20-25 )
5) Planned date/time of arrival to the camp
6) Planned date/time of leaving the camp
7) Your preferred date/time(s) for the photo session(s).
Please specify 2 or 3 alternatives. We'll try to accommodate your request to our utmost capability, but the scheduling can be very tight.
8) Any additional info you'd like to share.
1. Please allow 15 minutes for the personal portrait or small groups up to 6 people, 30 minutes for larger groups.
2. It is a common misunderstanding that the broad daylight is the best time to take the pictures. It is, in fact, the worst possible light for portraiture. While we can certainly deal with it, you will like the resultis much better if the portrait is taken early in the morning (sunrise - 10 am) or later in the afternoon (4pm - sunset).
3. Night sessions (think campfire shots!) are also available.
4. No portrait sessions during the primary reenactment events, hence the number of sessions is fairly limited. First come first served. One daylight and one night session per group maximum.
Firday: night sessions only
Saturday: morning, afternoon, night
Sunday: morning, afternoon, night.
