Lunch at Bandits : We decided to check out new, totally remodelled (they even moved to another building) BBQ place, namely Bandits Grill & Bar. What used to be "hole-in-the-wall" type of place now became a nice steakhouse, on par with Hungry Hunter, Black Angus and similar places. Prices are very moderate. Food is nice. Service is very good. Jazz at Gardens : On Wednesday Sep 8 Gardens of World hosted benefit concert for hurricane Katrina victims. Featured band was the Bayou Brass Band (from Disney). Concert admission was $20 and all the proceeds (more than $10,000 was raised) has been forwarded to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Relief effort. Event was organized by Hogan Foundation. Below are some pictures.
