Christine Van Loo: Selected : Christine is former seven time National Champion in Sports Acrobatics, Female Olympic Athlete of the Year, and Athlete of the Decade. 
We were lucky enough to see her performances at the Thousand Oaks Central Park opening ceremony.

Lunch at Bandits : We decided to check out new, totally remodelled (they even moved to another building) BBQ place, namely Bandits Grill & Bar. What used to be "hole-in-the-wall" type of place now became a nice steakhouse, on par with Hungry Hunter, Black Angus and similar places. Prices are very moderate. Food is nice. Service is very good. Jazz at Gardens : On Wednesday Sep 8 Gardens of World hosted benefit concert for hurricane Katrina victims.
Featured band was the Bayou Brass Band (from Disney). Concert admission was $20 and all the proceeds (more than $10,000 was raised) has been forwarded to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Relief effort. 
Event was organized by Hogan Foundation.
